Contour Series has Braun's unique Contour Hugging Head that automatically adjusts to every contour of your face for a close and comfortable shave without any effort.  The shaver has been designed for a perfect grip for better handling while shaving.

SmartFoil™

Contour Series' foil has an unique pattern featuring 4 differently shaped and sized holes in 5 different positions.  This offers 20 different hair-capturing opportunities compared with just 1 from a regular foil.

A combination of bigger and smaller holes promotes closeness because different skin areas (e.g. cheek, chin, neck) grow hair of varying types - and so require different hole sizes to capture them effectively.

3-Stage Cutting System

The first foil thoroughly shaves off short hairs and stubble.
The integrated cutter lifts the long, close-lying, or curled hairs and trims them.
The second foil then shaves them off cleanly and progressively close.

Clean&Renew™ (only for model 5895)

Clean&Renew™ leaves your shaver so thoroughly clean - it feels you are using a new shaver every time you use it.  The alcohol based cleaning fluid is pumped through the shaver head so it quickly and easily cleans away all the shaved stubble and skin grease without any mess in the sink.  The high performance cleaning formula also lubricates the blades for optimal cutting efficiency.

The Active Drying Technology totally dries the shaver head to extend durability and maximize the shaver’s performance.  Then the shaver battery is automatically charged to ensure peak performance at all times.

The shaved stubble is collected in the refill.  The filter inside the Clean&Renew™ keeps the shaved stubble in the refill, so you are assured of having a hygienic cleaning process every time you use the Clean&Renew™.  Changing the refill is easy and convenient.
